How To Lose Weight Using The Law Of Attraction - Week One Progress

I am happy to report success on my first week of losing weight by using the Law Of Attraction.

This morning I stepped on the scales and I was 5 pounds lighter.  That brought a big smile to my face!

I am not doing anything that I don't normally do. ... except for ...

Visualizing my new body each and every day.  As I stated in an earlier post, I have my head edited onto the body shape I want and have it hanging over my computer.  I look at myself and say, "You look marvelous!"

To give you a little background on myself, I will disclose that diabetes is a factor in me and I want to be slimmer to kick it out the door.  I want off those medications that go with it so badly I can taste it.  I've been eating a low carb diabetic diet for about four years now.  The doctor says I'm eating right and the weight loss should follow.

When I was diagnosed, it involved the amputation of my left big toe.  I blamed myself for that because I got a blister from walking ... to lose weight ... and ended up with a staph infection in it that manifested the diabetes.  The sugar in me fed the infection and the infection fed the sugar.  My only choice was to consent to the amputation.  Did you know we all carry staph on our skin but don't always have an infection?  I didn't either until this horrible event.

Right after all of this happened, I lost a considerable amount of weight.  Then at a doctor's visit I had gained three pounds and the doctor tore me a new one.  She said she didn't like this trend and that gastric bypass would probably be in my future.

All this over three pounds?  I was devastated.  I let that be a curse on me. I gained all the weight back and settled into a deep depression.  I now see a different doctor.

I always suspected that there is a huge mind body connection in me.  My intuition will not let go of that idea.  So, now I'm following it.

I read a biblical book about routing demons and curses.  I realize now that the doctor cursed me, even if unintentionally, because it affected me so profoundly.  I have leaned on the promises of God to shake this from me and know that faith is my key to the Law of Attraction working for me.

Be careful what you speak over people.

People think I've lost it when I tell them that I'm using the Law Of Attraction to lose weight.  They take one look at me and assume I eat like a big pig.  Well, I'm here to tell you that I don't.  I eat far less than some thin people I know.  Healthy eating is high on my priority list.

Assumption is a very condemning thing.

I have often felt shame regarding my weight simply because of how people assume I eat, eat, eat, and eat some more.

So I'm visualizing a huge, invisible rectangle around me.  It's my armor.  I imagine those condemning statements do nothing but ricochet off of it.  Inside, I am in my new body smiling and ready to emerge.

It's very freeing.

I'm very thankful for this 5 pounds that have gone into the history books.

I wonder how much more I can report next week?

Thanks for reading.
